Welcome to Your Delivery Guy. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our courier, logistics, and package delivery services (via our website, mobile application, or physical channels).

By using any Your Delivery Guy service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

  • “Your Delivery Guy,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Your Delivery Guy, its operators, drivers, riders, and corporate affiliates.
  • “Customer,” “you,” or “your” refers to the individual, business, or entity using our us to send or receive packages.
  • “Service” refers to our last-mile delivery, same-day/next-day courier solutions, e-commerce fulfillment, and related logistical operations.
  • “Shipment” means any parcel, package, document, or item handed over to our couriers for transport.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our platforms or tendering any package for delivery, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

3. Scope of Services

Your Delivery Guy provides prompt, reliable courier and delivery services. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at our sole discretion. We do not transport prohibited, illegal, or hazardous materials.

4. User Accounts and Security

  • You may need to create an account to use certain features (e.g., stock management).
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and update it when necessary.

5. Pricing, Fees, and Payment

  • Rates: We have a flat rate for e-commerce deliveries, which might change depending on the size of the parcel and distance.
  • Payment Terms: Payments must be made via accepted methods (digital payment channels) prior to or upon completion of service, as applicable.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD): If utilizing our COD services, Your Delivery Guy will collect cash on your behalf and remit it according to our standard agreed payout schedule.

6. Prohibited Items

You agree not to entrust Your Delivery Guy with any of the following restricted or illegal items:

  • Narcotics, illegal drugs, or unauthorized controlled substances.
  • Firearms, weapons, ammunition, and explosives.
  • Counterfeit goods, stolen property, or illegal contraband.
  • Highly combustible, toxic, radioactive, or hazardous materials.
  • Perishable goods improperly packaged to withstand normal transit.
  • Live animals or human remains.

Violations may result in immediate cancellation of service, forfeiture of items, and reporting to law enforcement authorities.

7. Packaging and Labeling

  • Sender Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that all items sent to Your Delivery Guy are adequately and securely packed to prevent damage during transit.
  • Your Delivery Guy is not liable for damage or loss resulting from faulty, fragile, or inadequate packaging.

8. Delivery, Delays, and Failed Attempts

  • Recipient Availability: Couriers will make reasonable attempts to deliver shipments to the specified address or recipient.
  • Undeliverable Items: If the recipient is unavailable or refuses the package, the item will be returned to our respective warehouses, and additional redelivery fees may apply.
  • Delays: While we strive for strict punctuality, delivery timelines are estimates. Your Delivery Guy is not liable for delays caused by severe weather, traffic congestion, road closures, or force majeure events.

9. Liability and Limitations

  • Maximum Liability: Our liability for any lost, stolen, or damaged shipment is limited to that which has been proven to be out of our neglegence or incompetence.
  • Exclusions: Your Delivery Guy shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, business interruption, or market loss arising from delayed or lost shipments.

10. Cancellations and Refunds

  • You may cancel a delivery request prior to the courier being dispatched or arriving at the pickup location without penalty.
  • Once a courier has picked up the shipment, cancellation fees equivalent to the base delivery charge may apply. Refund requests for service failures are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

11. Privacy Policy

Your use of Your Delivery Guy is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data and location information.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our platform. Continued use of our services following any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
