How does Your Delivery Guy handle Cash on Delivery (COD) for e-commerce store owners?
For e-commerce vendors utilizing our COD service, riders collects the payment from your customer upon successful doorstep delivery. Funds are then securely processed and remitted back to your corporate account according to our standard reconciliation and payout schedule.
What happens if a delivery is failed due to the customer not unreachable?
If a customer is unavailable or unreachable at the point of delivery, our delivery team team will attempt to reschedule via phone. If unsuccessful, the package is safely stored at our regional warehouses.
Are there restrictions on what types of products you deliver?
Yes. For safety, legal, and regulatory reasons, we cannot deliver prohibited items. This includes hazardous materials (flammable liquids, compressed gases), firearms and explosives, counterfeit goods, illegal substances, and perishable food items that lack proper preservation or temperature control. Additionally, regulated products requiring NAFDAC certification must comply with all packaging and labeling laws before being handed over for delivery.
